Ufo Sightings Texas

Texas has a long history of Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Sightings.

There have been reports from all over the state, but one area seems to be a hotspot for sightings.  That hotspot in northwest Texas and includes cities like Mineral wells, Bridgeport, Azle, Boyd, Rhome, Decatur, and many others.

Mineral Wells sits in the Palo Pinto Mountains, west of Fort Worth.  It has a rich history dating back to 1881 when it became the county seat after Marble Falls declined the position due to an inadequate water supply. The town was originally called “Four-Mile”, but changed its name to “Mineral Wells” in 1920 because of the curative powers of its mineral water. The city has several historic buildings dating back to 1881.

The town has many legends of Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon sightings dating back to the 1800s.

On November 2, 1957, two Mineral Wells police officers reported seeing Unidentified Flying Objects hovering over the old Baker Hotel.  The objects were described as glowing red balls of light and were witnessed by dozens of city officials for about 30 minutes before disappearing.
